Kunene Region Takes First Place at 2023 Hardap Regional ICT Summit!!! 🥳
A wonderful event hosted by the Hardap MoEAC focusing on ICT & eLearning. This summit brought attendees and speakers from all over the country.
This was the first annual Hardap ICT Summit ever held and Kunene took first place for the presentation competition!
The summit was an exciting place to be where companies showcased new technology and presentations by teachers and other educators within the ministry showcased ICT and eLearning information. The focus of the presentations were based on the following criteria:
Showcasing new ICT & eLearning technology that is educationally based
Inspiring teachers and audience members to implement or investigate ICT & eLearning techniques to use in their classroom
Empower teachers to feel competent and safe to utilize what they learn at the summit within their classroom
Each of the 35 presentations were officially judged through peer review. Meaning that the audience members - teachers, SEO's, and other education professionals - completed a survey of six questions regarding the presentation they had just watched. From there, those scores were evaluated and the awarding was determined.
We're so proud of the Kunene region; taking a lead on showcasing, empowering, and inspiring educators on ICT & eLearning across the nation!!!
